First impression, you can definitely tell it was used. Not saying as a neg, It just saw use. No hiding that fact, it's plainly listed when you read the description. The sight riser on it is in great condition! Id say it retains 97% of bluing with crisp knurling. Maybe it was replaced at one point, but in very good used condition. The sight ladder itself retains about 85% bluing. The bluing wore off in the spots you would assume...the edges where the riser runs up it, nicks in it, stuff like that. Whichever rifle it came off of, it saw daily use.
The sight is fully fuctional, secure lock up riser, solid pin retainers with positive fit in sight block. Not worn down at all. Still had somewhat of visual identifying fill left in the numbers. The coolest thing about it is the alpha/numeric cyrillic serial number underneath the sight. I always like to see that stuff and definitely shows it came off a military rifle.
All in all, it was a good buy and would buy it again. TY, DFS!
