For the money its a great discreet/carrying case. It's keeps it protected and offers some resistance to the elements. The one I received unissued/excellent condition, It does have Chinese writing on the inside and my Type 56 fits perfectly and secure inside.

this case is something that if you're wanting to go with having a complete chinese theme to match a chinese rifle is worth the money. it fit my rifle perfect and seems to well made. the only down side to me is mine didn't have and any chinese writing on it but it did have a "made in china" 2 piece sticker on it. i think were i was hoping that this was going to be old new stock maybe it is made more recent. but still i like it a lot and would buy again.
