Changes to the V2 update include new material. It is now made in ASA for better environmental resistance. The guide was also removed to reduce potential snag points.
It works the same way as the original, but now you simply line up the clip on the first round.
Works with polymer Canadian style clips and USGI metal clips*.
*Make sure to leave the retaining tab bent out on the leading edge.
