I bought 2 of these slings to use with my 1963 MD63. I was hoping at least 1 was well used but serviceable to match my well worn parts kit. Both slings are in excellent serviceable condition but still show use. 1 of mine also had the rear buckle stitching with an arsenal added rivet, which was a modification the Romanian Army performed on early slings due to the stitching coming loose. I've purchased 4 or 5 of these Romanian Leather slings now and every one has been in excellent, New Old Stock condition. Occasionally they'll also be stamped which is a nice touch for collectors. The leather is high quality, tough and built to last. I usually apply a leather conditioner/waterproofing just to improve longevity and combat the elements but even without I'm sure this sling will stand
